Bio: Born in Bologna and based in Rome, Pietro Lupo developed an early interest in art history and photography, which gradually led him towards cinema and cinematography.

He is currently completing his third and final year in Cinematography at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (CSC) in Rome, where he studies under Giuseppe Lanci AIC, Paolo Carnera CCS and Fabrizio Vicari. During his training, he has also attended workshops and masterclasses with leading cinematographers including Roger Deakins ASC, Daria D’Antonio CCS AFC and Vladan Radovic.

Alongside his studies, Pietro works as a Director of Photography across narrative and commercial projects, developing a visual approach rooted in storytelling and a strong interest in the relationship between light, space and character.
