Born in Bologna and now living in Rome, Pietro Lupo has been passionate about art history and photography since childhood.

His need to express himself through images, combined with his love for cinema and storytelling, led him from a very young age to pursue cinematography.

He is currently in his third and final year of the Cinematography program at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (CSC) in Rome where he studies under Giuseppe Lanci AIC, Paolo Carnera CCS and Fabrizio Vicari. He has also led workshops and masterclasses with other leading directors of photography such as Roger Deakins ASC, Daria D’Antonio CCS AFC and Vladan Radovic.

He works on various projects as a Director of Photography with a particular focus on cinematic storytelling.
